Holy Spirit, you are the One

My salvation experience can only be explained by the act of the Holy Spirit. But I sometimes forget about my Advocate/Counselor. I try to live the Christian (supernatural) life by my own strength.
When I was a non-Christian, I succeeded at most things that I set my mind to. But as a Christian, I cannot achieve Christ-likeness by wielding my willpower. When I’m unable to love sacrificially, or forgive unconditionally, or live selflessly… I remember, “Oh right, Holy Spirit, I forgot about YOU... the One who spoke every heart’s language at Pentecost!”

Forgot to ask for Your help.

Forgot to remember You’re with me. 

Forgot to seek Your power.

Forgot to fall back into Your arms instead of fighting on my own.

Today if you are feeling stuck about something - a situation, a trial, a person, yourself - I encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit for help. He is the One you are looking for.
